Text Predictions
You may have noticed that Microsoft has added predictive text. The basic idea is that as you type, Word tries to guess what you are going to write next and automatically adds the predicted text to your document. You can either accept the prediction by pressing the right cursor key or you can reject it by typing what you intended. If you continue typing, the predicted text simply goes away without you having to do anything.
Some people love Word's predictive text feature while some find the incorrect predictions to be distracting.
How to turn off text predictions in Outlook
- If you are using the Web version of Outlook, go to Settings (cog wheel) and type predictive text.
- Under Mail/Compose and reply, there are several options that you can uncheck to turn OFF text predictions or suggestions.
