Substitute Teacher Clever Instructions:
The new Substitute Access feature in Clever allows you to easily access the resources and Teacher Page set up by the teacher for the day. Using a unique Sub Badge provided in the teacher’s sub plans, you’ll be able to log in and view only the specific materials and tools needed to manage the classroom’s online resources. This ensures that you have everything you need to support the students without needing the teacher’s personal login credentials.
On the day you are subbing, follow the steps below to gain access to the teacher’s Teacher Page and resources:
- Navigate to www.clever.com/badges. Allow the camera access.
- Scan your Substitute Badge that the teacher provided to log in.
- That’s it! Now just click on whichever resource you need to access for the class.
When you click on a resource, if it is an application, you will be logged in as the teacher you are subbing for. Please proceed with caution and make sure to only access the things needed for instruction!
You may notice that some applications are grey and inaccessible. These are applications that the school’s Clever Admin has chosen not to provide substitute access to for security reasons. Please contact your school's IT team if you need to access one of these applications.
Please note: Google Suite and Sapphire applications are always restricted applications for security reasons.
