Users can configure their extension to ring for a specified time period, then transfer to another number. Here’s how to set this up for your phone extension.
1. Using a web browser, go to https://fortivoice.smsd.local/voice/
2. Login with your extension number and your voicemail password.
3. Click on the Call Handling icon.

4. Click on the drop down for “Follow Me Setting” and select “User defined” under the Call Process section.

5. Click the [ + New ] button to add a Follow Me number. This will open the “Create New Record” window.

6. Enter a name (can be anything) and the number to forward calls to along with the duration you wish to ring the phone before transferring to the “Follow Me” number. In this example the dialed number (you) will ring for 60 seconds, then transfer to extension 3403. Click [ OK ] to save the new follow me record.

7. Click [ √ øOK ] again at the Call Handling window. This will setup the extension to ring for 60 seconds then transfer to the extension (or number) specified.
