Introduction
South Middleton School District is striving toward a single-sign-on (SSO) solution that provides a federated, uniform username-and-password solution across as many platforms as possible. This allows users to establish more complex and resilient passwords that are changed more often that can apply to many different programs, services, etc.
Accounts that synchronize include (but are not limited to):
- your Windows password
- Microsoft Office365
- your Google password (with Chromebooks)
- Clever
- Papercut
- Sapphire
- Technology Support Center
- GoFMX
- School Messenger
These directions will allow users to change their SMSD passwords, which will in turn synchronize across many platforms offered to them.
