Uploading an assignment as a Media Recording can be easily achieved from within Canvas.


  1. When creating the assignment, make the assignment type as Online>Media Recordings
  2. When the students log in from their end, once in the assignment, they select Submit Assignment
  3. Next screen is where students can Record/Upload Media”from within Canvas
